GWAMBA TO DISH OUT K250, 000 IN TODAY’S BUSINESS COMPETITION FOR STARTUPS
“Time has come for young people to lead by uplifting each other from desperate conditions”. This is a powerful statement made by hip hop star Gwamba who has embarked on an initiative to create business/employment for young people in the country.
In his bid to creating #25businesses and compliment government’s agenda of job creation, he has announced an increased capital to be given to a winning business idea for startups in today’s live session.
The artist wrote on his official Facebook page that Thursday’s (today) live scout of potential business ideas will be upgraded and see a winner walking home with a cool K250, 000 from K100, 000.
“As an enterprising young person and artist, I would like to give the little I have to my fellow youths so that they land employment opportunities. I believe, together, with little contributions, we can make Malawi a better place to live for everyone,” stated Gwamba.
He described young people’s economic empowerment as key to ending youth unemployment rate and intergenerational poverty. Gwamba further challenged young people in the country to be a source of hope to one another.
The ’48 Bars for Jesus Christ’ hit maker added that he will disclose the sponsor of the K250, 000 stake during the live session, which is powered by Akometsi from 7:30 PM.
